Grammar

Depends not so much on A, but on B

For example,

  • It depends not so much on strength, but on vision.

Could this be changed to the form "not so much A as B"?

  • It depends not so much on strength as on vision.

I believe the fist example sounds good, but I've never see the grammar point "not so much A but B."

Any help is appreciated.
