Depend on rely on

Could you tell me if this could have been said by a native speaker and if it is natural ? Would you say depend or rely?
He can afford to charge so much because he does this on the side. He doesn't depend rely on photography to pay for his daily expenses. Everything he makes photography he spends on vacations because he already has a full time job which pays for expenses.
Thanks

Both 'depend' and 'rely' are possible here.

Is there any other mistake?
