Could anyone help me with this question?

Teachers who are good at ___ can make students understand easily.
A. demonstrate B. demonstrating C. demonstrations D. demonstrative

My option is "demonstrating, not "demonstration". I can't explain why. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks in advance

I have just looked up the Longman Dictionary and have found one meaning of "demonstration"like this " DEMONSTRATE (transitive) to show that you have a particular ability, quality, or feeling:He has demonstrated an ability to meet deadlines. In my opinion, "C. demonstrations" sounds to be the best choice. Does "demonstrations" sound better than "demonstration"? I am looking f
