I like "I demonstrated it to the judges." (Demonstrate sounds like something happened, like you made the lava erupt. Show sounds like they viewed it, but there was no activity.)
You can also say demonstrated it for the judges, but my North American ear likes "demonstrate s.th. to s.o".
