Well, I did that when I had the rather absurd title of "Site Communicator." (I always felt like Captain Kirk was going to call me and say "Site Communicator - get Star Fleet Command on Line 1!")

Well, I have to say, for some reason I read the original post as "employee satisfation" instead of "customer satisfaction" but even so, it's not going to be someone's full-time job in the vast majority of the companies out there. I now work in marketing intead of employee communications and such a survey would simply be one part of an overall marketing effort.
