delineation is visible, clean break

How would you correctly write the following
Her hair is blonde at the top and black at the bottom, but it doesn't gradually go from blonde to black, its a clean break from blonde to brown. You can see in the demarcation from blonde to black. The more I blow dry the hair, the more the delineation between blonde and black is visible.
