Delay in date of joining

Dear friends kindly correct this letter. My date of joining is 29th of May. but due to my health conditions i will not be able to be present there on the fixed date.i would like to request a extention.

II first apologies for not able to be present in the venue on 29th of May for signing the agreement. Due to my health conditions I'will not be in the position to sign the agreement on the fixed date. I would kindly request you to delay my date of joining.
