Degree or percentage or proof (alcohol) / focus (on)

How would you naturally say the 2please?

1 Over/At how many degrees/percentages does alcohol no longer freeze?

Over what proof does alcohol no longer freeze? Is it 40 proof or 45 proof?

2 How does one focus (on) an object whilst making the background blurry with this camera?

Thank you

Hello,

I'm sorry to bother you but could you tell me if this is correct?

How would you say both parts naturally please?

This alcohol is the same proof as that one.

This alcohol is the same abv as that one. They are both 12 degrees/12 proof/12 abv.

Hello CSnyder,

I had one question:

How would a native express this:

What proof alcohol is that? (pointing to a bottle of vodka for example)

What would you say in that situation?

Thank you

That seems fine to me, although you can drop the word "alcohol" if you want.
