Deforestation. What do you think can be done to solve this problem.

I've just started to learn writing so I'm sure that there are several mistakes in this essay, so I really need help to correct it.
About the topic, you can find a bunch of sources about this, I used some of them to combine and write on my own. Here is my essay:

There is a fact that our planet is protected and supported by the trees all over the world. Forests are considered as the lungs of the Earth. But in recent few decades, the area of land covered by forest has decreased by a considerable amount due to logging industry, felling trees for land for agricultural, industrial activities and expansion of urban areas. This will lead to many serious consequences such as global warning, flood, drought....

It's not easy to find a solution to deforestation. It involves a lot of different countries and many political and economic factors. But each country can make its contribution by fulfilling particular actions. The best solution to deforestation is to curb the felling of trees by employing a series of rules and laws to govern it. Logging trees in forests, in which live endangered plants and animals, should be banned. Government and wood-based industry have to reach a compromise about the maximum area of forest logged down to use as materials.

If corporation have the ability to destroy the world's intact forest, they also have the power to save them. Companies can help reduce deforestation by conduct zero-deforestation to their suppliers. This encourages suppliers to produce products, timber and paper fiber with minimal impact on the environment. The suppliers should also replace the cutting by the planting young trees to cover the areas of forest are logged. The companies can also implement policies concerning their use of paper to maximize the use of recycled materials in paper product that they consume.

As individuals, consumers can have considerable impact on market. Buying recycles wood products and buying brands that have zero-deforestation policies, may encourage companies to change their altitude to the environment. This can lead to consequences that they will win consumers' sympathies and boost their benefit.

These measures are seem to be small compared to the terrible impacts of deforestation. However, if we persist to carry out these actions and build on its successes, it really can make a difference to save our planet."
