definitions and distinctions

00I think it is safe to say that most learner dictionaries have various definitions based on countable and uncountable distinctions based on their common usages. I think it is also safe to say most dictionaries native speakers use don't have so many definitions on a word based on those distinctions but rather has a broad definition or definitions on a word.02br

00Is it that because the native speakers don't need so many definitions (can they be called 'example cases'??) based on countable or uncountable distinctions because they can take the broad definition they have on a word and use it in real life regularly as opporunity or a need arises in various usage situations, so many definitions on a word that learner dictionaries have aren't necessarily needed for them; but in contrast to that, English leaners in non-English speaking countries do.02br

00Am I right? 0-
