I'm not entirely sure if there is a name for this, but it's not too disimilar to lexical ambiguity but it appears to highlight two or more intended interpretations of a verb with nouns.
I have some examples such as 'he toyed with the gun, the idea of killing' or ' he toyed with the gun and he idea of killing'. Sometimes I'll mention the verb twice in relation to both parts of the sentence such as in the case of 'the idea of revenge surged through her thoughts, as something deadly surged through her veins'.
In the cases of using use, I tend to intentionally chose a verb that can either be interpretated in two ways or easily used in two ways in the given situation, whilst still being effective.
I think the term may contain the word 'dual' or 'meaning'.
