Definition of a donut

Is this sentence correct? Would you say the definition is correctly written?

A donut is when you rotate the car in a circular motion at a standstill.

It's not great. This "X is when Y" style of definition is OK for informal conversation, but it's not really dictionary standard. "in a circular motion" doesn't seem to add anything more than "rotate".

Standstill means not moving at all.
