Definition for 'too late'

Hi teachers,
Situation: two people, woman and man, having dinner together.
Would 'at a very advanced hour in the evening for me' be an appropriate definition for 'too late' in the context?
Woman: Remember, tomorrow will be Friday and we have to work, so I don’t want to get home too late, okay?

Thanks in advance.
