Hi. Please help. I believe the phrase "the gospel" refers to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Then could we use the phrase "a gospel" to refer to the teachings other than that of Jesus?
Also, I believe the phrase "the Messiah" refers to Jesus Christ for Christians. Then could we use the phrase "a Messiah" to refer to someone other than Jesus Christ in the that role or capacity or title (I don't know which is correct) in Christian context?
