I have a question concerning the usage of the definite article and the word' nature'.
I think we rarely use ‘the' with this word, am I right?
For example:
- We should protect nature.
- Factories are damaging nature.
- Factories are damaging nature all over the world.
- Factories are damaging the nature of the world.
- The nature of Sweden is marvelous.
I also have a question concerning the word order :
Are these sentence correct:
- To make these things a factory uses tones of wood.
I think we should say :
- A factory uses tones of wood to make these things.
- However the government has the most significant impact on improving the situation, which can send funds and emergency services to help victims. (I think it's incorrect)
I would say this sentence is correct:
2. However the government, which can send funds and emergency services to help victims, has the most significant impact on improving the situation
Thank you for your help.
