Definite article 'the human brain'

Hi,

Why is it so that ''the human brain'' takes the definite article but ''human biology'' doesn't, at least that's what I heard from native English speakers.

And also, is it correct to say :
The human brain compared to the dolphin's is... and human biology compared to a pig's is...
