definite article or 0

Should I put the article here or omit it?

Everything was well organized and in the best order.

Thank you

I think normally when there is a superlative we put the definite article in front of the word. Besides, when you see the noun being modfied by the adjective, you need to have an article here. Just like in your sentence.

Hi,

Can you kindly expand on your explanation especially the part that said "when you see the noun being modified by the adjective, you need to have an article here." Is that applicable in all situations and without regard to the fact whether it is a countable noun or an uncountable noun?
