Definite article foll. by job title and person's name...commas needed?

If I use the definite article “the” before a job description, followed by a person's name, do I use commas around the person's name below, even if he is the only store manager? Or should I go with number one, because his name is essential information to the meaning of the sentence. Is (1) or (2) correct below based on this information?

(1)/The store manager Shawn Higgins will resign on Friday.

(2) The store manager, Shawn Higgins, will resign on Friday.

Same question below. Is (3) or (4) correct if there is only one store manager and his name is Shawn Higgins?

(3) I spoke with the store manager Shawn Higgins.

(4) I spoke with the store manager, Shawn Higgins.

Thanks...... Emotion: smile
