Definite article + adjective + plural

Hi,
Could you please help me:

I arrived in Budapest. Every day I walked in the beautiful streets [of the city].
I arrived in Budapest. Every day I walked in the quiet streets.

Without any prior context or mention, the use of the definite article + adjective says that the streets of Budapest are always beautiful (ex 1) and always quiet (ex 2).

I arrived in Budapest. Everyone seemed to have left the city because it was so hot. I walked in the quiet streets.

Here the context makes it clear that the streets of Budapest aren't always quiet, just that time when I arrived.

I woke up and looked at the red trees outside my window.

Without any additional context, it can be understood that the trees outside my window are always red. But if somewhere in the next I say that it's autumn, then the reader will know that they are not always red but only because it's autumn.

Is my interpretation of this correct?
