Defining words
What is it called when you are defining a word and you use that same word in the definition.
For example:
change management is defined as "the task of managing change"
I remembered that there is an actual term for this, but can't remember what it is????? HELP

I wonder if the term is "nonsense"! Probably not, because that doesn't sound too scientific!
In logic a similar pattern is called "begging the question", but I doubt we could apply that here.
Another term is "tautology", but that doesn't exactly fit either, in my opinion.
