Defining the gender noun

I have been googling the definition of "gender noun" since yesterday but couldn't find anything. Or it will be more appropriate if I say could find exactly what I was trying to find. Then I defined it myself please see if it makes sense.

"Gender noun is the noun that shows the gender of an animal, human being or thing."

Thanks

I haven't heard the term 'gender noun'. Do you mean a word like 'bull' or 'man'? What would be an example of a gender noun for a thing?

I would word your definition like this. "A gender noun is one that shows the gender of an animal, human being or thing."

I assume that you mean words like 'man', 'lady', 'girl', 'landlord', 'drake', 'hen', 'bull', 'sis
