"I can help you decorating your apartment." doesn't sound all that great to me. I'd be more inclined to say "I can help you with decorating your apartment." if I had to use "-ing". Gerunds make more sense with "help" used as a noun:

Do you need some help (with/in) decorating your apartment?

Thanks alot. you made it clear for me as sometimes I find gerunds after help and I always wonder why they use it that way. but now I got from your explanation that when (help) is used as a noun it's ok to use (-ing)

but

if it is a verb we should use the infinitive of the verb after it or as I know (to )

thanks again
