Decorate?

Is <Decorate my room correct>? Is there another way of saying it? I think it was dress my room, but I'm not sure

Top answer

Decorate is the usual way to say it. Dress my room doesn't work, but dress my room up or dress up my room are possible, especially if you are talking about adding accessories, such as curtains, a rug, pictures, and the like. If by decorate you mean to paint it and so forth you can say do up my room .
