Decompensation

Hello,

I have several questions:

1) Is the expression "decompensation of physical status" OK?
2) Is ''perioperative stress" OK? I'm not sure that I can use stress here meaning exertion or "strain''.
3) Is "extraordinary" OK? The meaning intened here is not normal.

The entire perioperative protocol of patient's supervision in Clinic XY is organized in such a way to detect early signs of decompensation of physical status so one can start with early optimization of the system for the given perioperative stress, that is, to react accordingly to the extraordinary perioperative status.
