Decided and apostrophe

Hi! So sorry, my English is really bad and I need to write an email (with the right grammar) Emotion: smile

Which one is correct:

The Rubin-family decide that they need both Katy and Brooke's help.

The Rubin-family decided that they need both.....

I would like to know whether the "decide" must be with/without the -ed as well as the apostrophe 's at the name.

Thanks, can't wait to gan answer!

I assume the Rubins made the decision in the past, so: The Rubin family decided that they need both Katy's and Brooke's help.
