Are any of these natural utterances?

  1. At his accident, he wondered how he could make a decent living.
  2. I am sure they make a decent living. They have a nice home, a car and two maids.
  3. Don't you want a decent living? You must accept this offer.
  4. What's your definition of a decent living?

Your use of 'decent living' is fine in all four cases.

In the first one, however, don't you mean "After his accident"? I've never heard the expression "At his accident".
