Hi, I found this word "rot" for "decay" but I don't recall what is the opposite word of "growth" does it makes sense that it will be rot? I think more about decay as "to fade"
"... the cycle of seasons, of growth and decay, life and death"

Good question. Antonyms for growth include: decrease, withering, failure, and decline. I do not think that rot is the opposite of growth because after growth comes life, death, then decay (rot).
Hi John, they show life and dead in the example of the article, so I thought what is for growth? and that is a bit confusing. "Decline" sounds to me as another right meaning thanks
