Could you have me listen to the plural of genre, "genres". Thank you!

That's great Hitch. Would it be possible for you to say something a little bit more romantic? I mean sth students could say to someone they met in a disco, in pub, in a bar, wherever. They always want to know what they should say in these contexts. Could we have a list of words that you may say when dating someone? I thank you in advance. Cheers!

I'm in I.T - I don't date - I can sell you a new toaster though.

I have no idea how to pronounce 'genres' - I don't think my pronunciation of it is correct - Chris? Mike? WW?

Sorry Hitch, my sound driver isn't working right now ... I'm flying deaf!
It sounds like John-ra ... the ra is quite soft, so is the j

I see the s is not pronounced. Good to know.

genres /John-ra/
I noted down the pronuntation in my notebook as /yána/ (my personal phonetic help)
At Encarta Dictionary it is written as /zhäanr-/ (the - corresponds with the schwa sound, I can't type it))

Interesting eh?
I like phonetics and the personal versions of it.

Ok, that's what I figured 'genre, genres' sound the same - K, erm.. I should probably have known that. Mike you rock Emotion: stick out tongue

Please, can you say "Mike you rock" in other words to get the exact meaning, and, when you have time, the pronuntation of

environmental; southern; northern.

Thank you.
