Dear teachers, please help me to check my motivation letter
Dear Admission Director:
I am a graduate of International Business Administration at . I am writing this letter is to apply for your Dutch Studied one year program in September 2006. I have known this program in your school’s website. I am very interested in it. I thought this is great opportunity for me to learn Dutch culture deeply in your university.
First of all, I have studied in for nearly three years. I haven’t learned culture of Dutch completely. As a student of economical studies require to not only aim with professional knowledge, but also need to understand each country’s culture and economical policies as well. With the rapid progress of Chinese economy and the increase numbers of multinationals such as Philips and Shell emerge in , the country lacks of people who be able to speak several foreign languages. Thus, I have to hold this opportunity to struggle myself to gain more skills.
Furthermore, my favorite profession is to work for an international hotel in after my Dutch studies. My previous hotel work experience tells me that proficiency in several foreign languages and different culture is significant in hospitality industry. Especially, as a hotel employee, it is required to well understand different culture of customers who come from all over the world. In addition, communication with customer is to improve individual capability, indeed increase hotel’s services. Therefore, multiple languages skills is essential communication tool for international hotel’s employees.
Besides, base on the ’s reputation, teaching resources and studying environment, it is the best choice for me to study in the university and meet new friends from different countries. Moreover, I hope to participate in your university’s events actively and to use my experience of public relation. I strongly believe that I can completely study Dutch language and culture in your university, and make contribution in improving the relationship between and .
