"Enjoy" is transitive; you have to enjoy something, not just enjoy (usually). You can't enjoy "at the beach" because "at the beach" is not a noun.

We had a good time at the beach ....
We enjoyed the beach ....
We enjoyed being at the beach ....
There are many other ways to say that.
