Dear sir or madam... and my email

Dear Users,

If we don't know the name of the person we are writing to, we could use Dear Sir or Madam. At least that's the way many are taught... I find this phrase to be very bland and generic, though. Even somewhat indifferent and plainly empty.

Is there any better way to address someone we don't know in person? Especially when we are sending a letter of interest to a company?

That's the first part of my post. The second one is below. Would you please skim my email and tell me if there are any unnatural sounding sentences? I'd be much obliged!

Dear Sir or Madam,

First of all, let me express my gratitude for reaching out to me and sending the messages. I must say that I have a keen interest in the position in question as it matches my current career goals and seems to suit my profile and personal qualities.

I am attaching to this message my most recent CV and I will send a separate email with the information required for the job.

Also, please feel free to visit my LinkedIn profile: [web address]

I would appreciate it greatly if you could let me know if the position in question is still accepting applicants.

Looking forward to your reply.

With kind regards,

Brad Mallow

Dear Sir or Madam, If someone already sent you some messages, how did they address you? How did they sign them? That influences how you reply.
