Motivation letter for Master in Computer Science

Dear sir /Madam,

First of all, let me introduce myself, I am Waseem Husain and recently I have been working in “The Urban Unit” as a Software Engineer, and hands-on 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing large software projects, My technical expertise scripting/programming languages (including C#, VB, and SQL); and advanced knowledge of developing web applications. I have attended my BSCS (hons) degree in Computer Science from University of Agriculture Faisalabad Pakistan.

The graduate curriculum in Computer Science at University of Agriculture, Pakistan introduces me to a wide variety of Computer Science subjects. Various courses like Programming Languages, Software Engineering, System Programming, Assembly Language, Algorithm Analysis and Design, Digital Signal Processing, Network and System Security, Web Programming, Algorithm analysis and design, Computer graphics , Distributed Database System and Advanced object oriented programming provided me with a strong footing in the theoretical concept of Computer Science.

While offering both depth and breadth across this field, these courses put into perspective the importance and relevance of Computer Science and Engineering and the application of its fundamentals to the problems faced by the real world. So, I can realize that learning and developing my knowledge of Computer Science. I will have a great contribution to the society since our country begins to transfer manual system to computerize.

I am much eager to adopt and know new technologies. I am really enthusiastic to attend a Master of Computer Science in order to understand different Computer Science Concepts because every industry needs the concept of Computer Science. The good reputation of high-quality education standards, an extremely distinguished faculty members, and research facilities are the factors which have motivated me to choose for my M.Sc. studies the Chemnitz university.

I decided to apply for the Master’s Program in Germany as the culture and lifestyle of this country appeal to me strongly. I am impressed with the high education level and demanding programs, as well as great job opportunities and professional approach to modern technologies.

I think that the chosen program will help me gain both the knowledge and the experience to start a professional career In Information Technology, as well as fulfill my interests.

With a solid foundation in academic theory and practical knowledge gained during five years software development job, I believe I am qualified to start a Master’s Program in this chosen field of interest.
