Essay & Composition Writing

Dear member, please check help me this paragraph (Ielts task 2)

Topic: More and more people prefer to read e-books rather than paper books. What are the reasons for this? What problems can this cause for libraries?

Many people argued that e-book recently have been read more popular than paper books. Although some disadvantages can be identified together with this advancement, from my perspective, the benefits are more significant.

One the one hand, reading e-book has included many advantages. Firstly, with the explosion of online technology, we can just once click we can download and update book intermediately, which contents are the same as paper book but saving time and fee also. For instance, in the old days, if I want to find good titles or "hunt" the most discounted books, I have to find as big bookstores and sometime using all day to look that. Secondly, nowadays the internet makes the reader more convenient than ever. With a laptop or a smartphone, readers can access the Internet at anytime and anywhere that they beyond the constraint of time and space. The reader just has few quick actions; they can share with their friends or join in the fan club of those interesting books.

On the other hand, reading e-books also exists many drawbacks. Firstly, although saving time than reading paper books but more impress and remember than e-book. In my opinion, when reading real book, we can feel and touching each papers. Moreover holding the book in hand, you can enjoy the feeling of your own books. Secondly, some people think that reading e-books is not good for the eyes. It will be hard for eyes when screen monitor than reading paper book take as the same time.

As long years ago, it very difficult for libraries to be able to buy and lend e-books from publishers, so most readers go to library to find and borrow book directly. However recently, in the past couple years, by the admission of both librarians and publishers, have grown much stronger as publishers have increasingly joined into the digital lending region. So the reader can borrow through website on internet. But the library still remain the important role because some e-books still aren’t available on e-book, most are in paper book. These are old and unpublished books.

In conclusion, as the opinions mentioned above there are many strong reasons why online book becomes more and more popular although there are some disavantages. I would argue that the benefits of reading e-book outweigh the drawbacks.

I think your essay has digressed. The topic ask about the causes (What are the reasons for this?) and effects (What problems can this cause for libraries?)

I think you should revise this essay.
