Three or four thousand years ago, the Kingdom of Shu (Shu is another name for Sichuan Province in ancient times of China) was possessed of the cultural treasure of abundance and mysteries. But 3200 years ago, a strange occurrence impaired the kingdom's precious deposits and therefrom thousands of bronze arts were entombed. The kingdom sank in darkness and mourned for ages till 1986 when two large-scale pits for sacrifice were discovered. The cavity was heaped with a mass of relics. These 1000 unearthed relics witness the exquisite arts and crafts, the mysterious social life and the culture of prosperity at the time.
