Dear Barney,

I am writing to request the return of the $1000 deposit that I paid you before I rented this apartment.When I telephoned your office, your staff told that the deposit weren’t repaid in full.

On 5^th of January, when I rented this apartment, you were mentioned that the deposit would be returned if the agreement was finished and undamaged to the property. Before I left the apartment, I not only cleaned the whole room but also arranged the furniture. Additionally, I also have paid all bills up to this month and returned all set of keys to your letting agency.

Considering the terms of the agreement, I respectfully request you return all my deposit because our agreement have finished.I were told you five days ago.However, you haven’t answered me.I will have to seek legal advice if you don’t return my deposit within the next week.
