Dear all, can we say "data blocks with different importances"?

Dear all,
can we say "data blocks with different importances"? I have seen many engineering texts are using it now a day!!
I know importance is an uncountable noun. However, is it as tough as "information"? as it looks ugly when you say informations!!!!
