I have a quick question on the below sentense.

"Fanatics won't be seen dead with this year's model."

I am not clear the meaning of .."dead with".. in this sentense.

This is an expression meaning that the fanatics will not like this years model so they will not wish to be seen with it. For example, if I don't like Red I could say "I wouldn't be seen dead in red".
