DDS or Dr.

Is it proper to place the doctors title first and his degree? Example: Dr. David Rice D.D.S., P.A. or David Rice D.D.S., P.A. or Dr. David Rice which is correct all or none?

Hi Joerex,

Don't use 'Dr.' before and the degrees behind at the same time. Either of your latter two examples are fine, but if the degrees follow, there should be a comma after the name:

'David Rice, D.D.S., P.A.'
