Days off from work
Its been only two months since i started working in a chemist. And now i need to write a letter asking for a few days off from work so that i can attend my cousin's wedding.Could anyone please suggest how I should go about it?

In my company, it goes like this:
me: John, I'd like to take July 16 & 17 off. Is that okay?
boss: sure - send me an e-mail reminding me you're out those days.
