Day of 2weeks later?

Hi. I am English beginner and I just knew this web site.

I think that I might come this site so often to ask about grammar or expression of natives.

So, my question is/

I would like to express that I am going to have vacation from next Tuesday(1week later from now) to Thursday(2weeks later from now).

But I think "I am going to have vacation from next Tuesday to /2weeks later on Thursday/ or /Thursday of 2weeks later/ is weired.

Could you plz help me to express that sentence?

Welcome to the forum. This sort of thing causes all sorts of misunderstanding. I'm not even sure what you mean by that.

  • You'll make it a lot easier for yourself, and remove any possibility of being misunderstood, if you say 'I'll be on vacation from Tuesday April 11th through Thursday April 28th (if that's what you mean).

I will leave for my 16-day vacation next Tuesday.

I'd say

eg I am going on vacation next Tuesday. I'll be back at work on Thursday, April 27th.
