Dates in a formal letter

Dear all,

Which is the correct date expression in a formal letter?
"...the most suitable date for the meeting is ....
a. the 25 or 27 March
b. the 25th or 27th March
c. on 25 or 27 March

I would appreciate any help from a native english speaker
