Date Format

When I write the history of the institute or the project,
Could you tell me if the following list of the date format is wrong?

1.
2010.10
2010.09.08
2010. 07

2. list by year
2007
3 planning
4 desiging ...
2008

11

Does this format make sense? Year then months..

3 I think the following format is correct?

September 8, 2010
