Dash needed?

Dear native speakers, do you normally write such phrases, as 'grid site', 'grid infrastructure', 'grid services' with a dash?

Another question is can I write "a number of *** processes during a day and a half" (there is a diagram that shows this period of time). Sounds a bit awkward, doesn't it? Would it be better to say 'during a day and a half time period'?

Hi snuppelina
I would normally write all of these without a dash.

Hi again Snuppelina
I agree that "during a day and a half" sounds a bit awkward. It might be better to say "a number of *** processes during a 36-hour time period".
Kind regards

Can I say that something is under study?
"Under investigation" is a bit too pompous.

And also "3.0-cm-diameter radiator" is ok?
Thanks!
