Dangling participle or not?

Is this sentence correct or is it a "dangling participle phrase". I have seen this type of sentence somewhere on the Internet. Howerver, according to the my grammar book it must be wrong:

"Having warned you earlier, you shouldn't do that!"

"Having said" doesn't refer to "you" but to the guy who spoke out the warning. How would you change the structure, so that is makes sense?
