Dangling

Remind him to turn off the dishwasher before leaving the kitchen. He usually forgets about it.


I wonder if "leaving" is ambiguous and dangling.

So it is unambiguous that the dishwasher is an appliance.
And "him" is the person who can leave and turn it off. No ambiguity.
