My hobby is dance Sounds more serious, more formal. More like you are thinking of it as a subject of study rather than a casual activity.

I slightly prefer . . . swimming, football and dancing.

As I said, 'dancing' sounds a little more casual, and I assume that here you are talking about casual activities.
