Daily double

Hello, would you please tell me what is "today's daily double" ? for example:

  • Ideas for companies to cover in this column come from many places. Sometimes people e-mail me candidate companies, other times I get tips from the Daily Double Discussion Board. For today's Daily Double, I got the idea while pumping my first $50 tank of gas.
