I explained all this to my friend who could sense my nervous state and he simply said- if thats what happens then death isnt so bad...
That was the final kick in the balls. If i was 90% sure i was dead before, now i was convinced. I was sitting on my couch when he told me this. I stood up walked to my front door and thought that when i open it there wont be anything outside but there was. This made no sense. This all felt like days, even though in reality it was no more than a few minutes.
This was the turning point in my trip. Imagine being convinced your dead, that everything is over and that your stuck in this room and for all eternity you will have this weird feeling that your not part of reality. Couple this with the most vivid and inexplainable visual tripping I have ever encountered and i was quite shaken up.
Then i have no idea how but i sat down and i was happy. Happy because of innocence, i felt like a little kid. My friend handed me a lit cigarette and i just remember thinking 'nice'. That lasted about half an hour where in the complete silence i just enjoyed the way i was feeling, completely clear headed and relaxed.
For a few days after i felt really weird when i got stoned and spent a lot of time thinking about life, death and my trip. It scared the shit out of me (which actually led me to find this website and start my first thread- dealing with a bad salvia trip).
So yeah, im not doing salvia for a while and i even stopped blazing for a few days. I think about it less and less and while the trip scared me i think it really showed me how powerful the mind can be. It was like my own fear and loathing.
When my friends ask me whether i would recommend it i dont have an answer. I think if you smoke and then hit some hardcore salvia you will be surprised, and its really difficult to prepare yourself.
I think if your willing to propell yourself into a completely different world that you might, in all likelihood, not be prepared for, go for it but be cautious.
nice.
