Cut into

Hello,

I tried to find a noun or synonym for cut into but I couldn't. Does my sentence sound proper?

Since British shorelines are composed of loose materials, abresion has caused these beaches to have the apperence as if they cut into.

Thank you in advance.

First of all, according to my own understanding with no offense, you mean "abrasion" rather than "abresion" and "appearance" rather than "apperence", right? Would "as if they are sharpened" or "as if they are edged" sound more reasonable? I don't know...

  • I am so sorry because I am not a native speaker of English Language and I cannot quite figure out what you meant by "cut into"...
