I guess you are better off with, "This curry is hot and spicy."

AFAIK, chilly is nonstandard; it doesn't really accompany the word hot when it comes to expressing a burning sensation, especially in the mouth.

Then how do you say the same sentence when the curry is also spicy along with hot and chilly.

Why not say, "The curry is hot and spicy"?

I want to clearly and explicitly say that a curry is spicy because it has lot of spices as ingradients, it is producing burning sensation in the mouth(because red chilly powder is used in excess) and at the same time it is hot. What would be the sentence containing these three attributes.

hi
thanks for your help. I've another question as this:

what I have to say if the "curry is hot (fresh from oven) and spicy by virtue of presence of more spices and also hot by virtue of presence of more chilly powder?

thanks

What's this for? An advert, a menu or a review?

"This curry is served piping hot with a lot of spices and chilly powder"

would you say a freshly-made spicy hot curry?

Yes, sounds good too!

agree with Hitch. I think you need more words to clearly convey the meaning. The word hot when used to describe food, is generally associated with the burning sensation rather than the temperature. Chilly, otoh, isn't used to mean hot, it means either cold (of weather) or not friendly.
